Classification of sliding bearings

There is no rolling body isolation between the motion pairs (ferrules), and the relative motion occurs directly between the motion pairs (ferrules), resulting in sliding friction between each other, and there is no rolling friction. The two motion pairs can be lined with antifriction material to reduce friction loss, or the antifriction material can be directly selected as the motion pair material, or it can be lubricated by grease injection.

Its common classification is:

1. Integral alloy sliding bearing

2. Split alloy sliding bearing

3. Wear-reducing material inlaid alloy sliding bearing

4. Roller type sliding bearing

5. Self-lubricating liner sliding bearing

6. Sliding bearings made of polymer antifriction materials
